  • Tell us about your education and continuing training.

I’m so glad to share a bit about my journey in the massage therapy field! It’s been an incredibly rewarding experience, fueled by my genuine passion for helping others feel their best. I absolutely believe in the importance of continuous education, which helps me provide you with the best care possible.

Over the years, I have  advanced my training in various techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. I have also had the pleasure of learning some unique methods, such as Kansi Vatki—a delightful foot massage using copper bowls that stimulates points on the feet, detoxifies the body, improves circulation, and calms the nervous system. Additionally, I have practiced Jin Shin Do acupressure, a technique that involves applying pressure to specific points on the body to promote healing and balance. I also specialize in hot stone massage using lovely serpentine stones, which help alleviate muscle and fascia pain, such as sciatica, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, and issues related to overuse. Furthermore, I have gained valuable hands-on experience with auto-related injuries and sports injuries while working alongside some excellent chiropractors.

I’m excited to bring these powerful techniques to our sessions and help promote your well-being. Your health and relaxation mean the world to me, and I can’t wait to embark on this wellness journey together!

  • How did you discover massage therapy and what attracted you to it?

My grandmother was the first to notice my talent for massage when I was about 10 years old. I used to massage her neck and back, and she would tell me I’d make a great massage therapist. Years later, in my early twenties, I saw a commercial for Ashmead Massage School. It caught my interest, so I decided to learn more. When I visited, I was amazed by how calm the school felt. I loved it right away and knew it was the right path for me.

  • What do you want people to know about their bodies and self-care?

When you meet me, I want to emphasize that you only have one body in this lifetime. It's crucial to prioritize your well-being by choosing self-care tools and services that nurture you. Remember, investing in yourself is a vital step—because you truly deserve it!

  • What is your favorite part of the body to work on?

Throughout my 24 years of experience, I've come to realize that I have a deep appreciation for all aspects of the body. Everyone is unique, which makes every encounter fresh and intriguing. This variety allows me to step into a detective role as I explore the reasons behind people's struggles. I find great fulfillment in helping others feel lighter and more at ease, alleviating their burdens and enhancing their well-being.

  • Favorite thing to do outside of bodywork?

In the summer and fall, I absolutely love being outdoors! There's something special about puttering around in my garden or going for hikes with my family. When the weather cools down and winter rolls in, I find joy in relaxing with some great music, appreciating beautiful art, and sipping on warm tea. I also enjoy listening to the gentle sound of rain or watching the snowflakes dance as they fall. And nothing beats cuddling up in my cozy cabin while the wind rustles outside!
